Envisioning Increased Demand of Premium Serviced Apartments

May 31, 2010, Hong Kong Lanson Place is pleased to announce that a brand new development in Asia, Lanson Place Jin Qiao Residences (“Lanson Place Jin Qiao”) has opened last week in Pudong New District, Shanghai. Following the success of Lanson Place Jinlin Tiandi Residences (in Puxi), Lanson Place Jin Qiao Residences (in Pudong) is the second project in Shanghai. Lanson Place Jin Qiao has 206 one and two-bedroom apartments and this project is jointly developed by Shanghai Chengtou Corporation and Shanghai Urban Construction (Group) Corporation. This project is accredited as one of the Designated Serviced Residences for Shanghai World Expo 2010.

Lanson Place Jin Qiao offers residential comfort and five-star hotel services to expatriate customers who are working away from their home countries. Special attention is paid to enhance the living comfort, hospitality convenience and privacy, hence providing a “Home more than Home” environment to the customers.

Lanson Place Jin Qiao is located in Pudong New District, at the junction of Zhang Yang Road and Zao Zhuang Road. It is adjacent to Pudong’s high tech zones and international community. A new grand shopping mall named Life Hub @ Jin Qiao has just opened next door.

Lanson Place Jin Qiao has a total of 206 one and two-bedroom apartments. One-bedroom apartment is 860 sq ft and two-bedroom apartment is 1,200 sq ft. All the apartments enjoy garden view and have a fully equipped kitchen. Additional guests’ facilities include a resident’s lounge, business center and a 24-hour gym.

Lanson Place Jin Qiao is designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA). HBA is an international renowned interior design firm in the hospitality industry. Their landmark projects include the Fairmont Peace Hotel renovation in Shanghai, St Regis Shanghai and the Four Seasons Seychelles. Landscape designer is Belt Collins and they have created a remarkable European garden in this project.

October 23, 2009, Hong Kong - Lanson Place Hospitality Management Limited ("Lanson Place" or the "Group"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of USI Holdings Limited (HKEx stock code: 369), is pleased to announce its Lanson Place Hotel has won a prestigious award, “China Best Design Hotels - The Judge’s Choices”, at a ceremony organized by The Bund . Lanson Place was the only hotel in Hong Kong to receive this recognition. The award reflects the boutique hotel’s high quality accommodation and unparalleled dedication to service.

Lanson Place Hotel was also a finalist in another category "Best Business Hotels" at the same award ceremony hosted by The Bund, a leading publication in Shanghai with dynamic readers who are mostly frequent travelers and thought leaders. The award plaque was collected by Mr. Anson Chan, General Manager of Lanson Place Hotel, at an Award Dinner in Shanghai.  This industry recognition follows numerous accolades given to the hotel since its opening in 2006.  The property was of the first hotel in Hong Kong to be accepted into the "Small Luxury Hotels of the World" brand, and it has been awarded "Best Service Hotel" and "Best Asia Hotel" by HotelClub Awards Asia 2008, "Boutique Hotel of the Year" in SCMP / Harper's Bazaar StyleAwards 2007.

Jul 30, 2009 Lanson Place Jin Qiao Accredited as one of the Designated Serviced Residences for World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China
 

July 28, 2009, Hong Kong – Lanson Place Hospitality Management Limited (“Lanson Place” or “the Group”) announced that its Lanson Place Jin Qiao has been accredited by a joint inspection group that includes the Expo 2010 Shanghai China and Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration. It has subsequently signed the Designated Property and Accommodation Service Agreement for the Expo 2010 Shanghai China, becoming one of the designated serviced residences for the next year’s World Expo.

“We feel honored to have been chosen by the Expo 2010 Shanghai as one of its first designated serviced residences,” said Mr. Graeme Laird as Senior Vice President of Lanson Place . “The Lanson Place brand represents excellent serviced residence standards, and we are dedicated to providing visitors around the world with comfortable well-appointed accommodation and personalised services.”

Located in Pudong New District Lanson Place Jin Qiao is the Group’s second serviced residence project in Shanghai. Lanson Place Jin Qiao enjoys easy access to Expo Shanghai Park, Pudong International Airport, Lujiazui CBD, Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park and the site of the planned Disney Amusement Park.
