All-new café bar on 8 Opens at Two MacDonnell Road

15 September 2017, Hong Kong – Two MacDonnell Road is pleased to reopen today with a host of freshly renovated and refurnished facilities. Our many improvements include an all-new bar, lobby, and Communal Room for networking, socialising, and celebrating, as well as a fully renovated café with a delicious new menu. We’ve also enhanced our guest services and amenities, including a new gym and new self-serve laundry. Located just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Central CBD, Two MacDonnell Road is the perfect short- and long-term living solution for travellers and expats seeking a place that feels like home while in Hong Kong.

Featuring stunning views of Hong Kong’s lush botanical garden and city skyline, Two MacDonnell Road’s newly renovated café bar on 8 is an excellent gathering spot for guests and their visitors. Whether it’s a quick continental breakfast, a convenient grab & go meal, a tempting lunch buffet in our show kitchen, a refreshing afternoon tea, or a delicious evening of casual dining, there’s something to please every palate. Our Chef de Cuisine has created a delectable menu for café bar on 8 that ranges from international delicacies like Margherita Pizza and Old English Fish and Chips to Hong Kong favourites like Hainanese Chicken Rice and Mild Red Curry Prawns. To celebrate our café’s opening, from now until 31 November 2017, diners can enjoy 25% off our lunch buffet or a la carte options for parties of 1 to 5, or 30% off for parties of 6 to 12.

During the day, café bar on 8’s new bar serves as an “extended” living room and lounge, together with the 8/F Lobby and Communal Room. Guests can meet up with friends or make new ones, network and mingle, celebrate with family or colleagues, or just bring their laptop and work quietly in well-lit comfort. In the evening, the bar will be a relaxed yet lively alternative to the bars in Lan Kwai Fong. Sports fans can sit down over a beer and enjoy the exciting vibe of watching live broadcasts of major sporting events on our huge 120″ TV screen. Patrons can indulge in our Master Barista’s curated variety of wines, spirits, whiskeys, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as the bar’s signature cocktails and savoury tapas, while they take in the breath-taking view of Hong Kong by night. Every Monday through Friday from 5:30pm to 8:30pm (three hours), the bar features its Happy Hour Free Flow Package for HK$158 +10% per person for selected drinks.

Nestled between the lush greenery of Victoria Peak and Hong Kong’s iconic skyline, Two MacDonnell Road provides a thoughtfully designed, restful residential environment amongst the tranquil beauty of Central Mid-Levels.
