Lanson Place Appoints Helen Cheung as Marketing Communications Manager
16 July 2013, Hong Kong – Lanson Place Hospitality Management Limited (Lanson Place) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Helen Cheung as Marketing Communications Manager. Helen will be responsible of maximizing the brand exposure of all nine properties of Lanson Place including one boutique hotel in Hong Kong and 8 serviced residences in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
Helen has over 15 years of experience in Journalism, Marketing Communications and Public Relations. Her career started in journalism with Asiaweek and Hong Kong Cable Television, she has a strong background in agency work, having enjoyed positions at Octagon Prism and Phang & Naughton here in Hong Kong. Helen followed agency life with a PR Manager role at The Paua Group, assisting with the launch of Elemis Day Spa, Hong Kong.
Prior to joining Lanson Place, she had spent six years in Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong as Assistant Director of Public Relations and before working at Mandarin, she had worked as Marketing Communications Manager for Harbour Plaza Metropolis and The Kowloon Hotel.
Helen is Chinese national and an English Journalism graduate of Communications Faculty in Hong Kong Baptist University, she also seeks opportunity to further her studies and received a Diploma of Marketing from HKU SPACE in 2004. Helen enjoys travel and Wine & Dine. She speaks fluent Cantonese, English, Mandarin and elementary level of Japanese.
